Thanks Susan; I remember when he first set it up, he was doing it that way and I figured he could do that again, but I failed to mention you had to do it with your browser.

Setting up the SSL stuff can be a bit tricky in OE; it is much easier (IMHO) in Firefox, but you still need to know what you are doing which I found disconcerting when AT&T threatened to cut off my email if I failed to stop using the non SSL setup after they had been putting out a general warning (which I had ignored) for several months.
