i am looking to buy a new laptop and i am sure anything i buy with new technology is faster and better than what i have now (toshiba a135-ss4467) i am in oil exploration and travel a lot so wieght is a big factor , i have looked at several 13 inch models and just get more confused , i like the adamo and the v13 from dell but the r700 from toshibe looks good as does the dell vostro 3300 , i dont game but might start sometime on a limited entry as my pc is my only entertainment most of the time , i run office programs for work and outlook and watch movies and listen to music so other than gaming i dont stress my pc ,all that said would a machine like the adamo or v13 with the newer low power cpu work for me or should i make the jump one higher and get an I3 or larger , when that step is taken battery life and weight take a hit . i just want to do this purchase right and with all the choices its hard to get a straight forward answer, if i can get some help from someone who actually knows this stuff rather than a salesman i can make the right choice.   thanks
