Thanks, Bill, I looked forward to that but the download was a readme text file:
'This update is being re-packaged and will be made available shortly.' I think that
was March of this year.

Then further on the page, saw Windows Script 5.7 for Windows XP

File Name: scripten.exe

This download installs Microsoft® Windows® Script containing Visual Basic® Script
Edition (VBScript.) Version 5.7, JScript® Version 5.7, Windows Script Components,
Windows Script Host 5.7, and Windows Script Runtime Version 5.7.

Do you think the age will be of any use for me? Sorry to be jumpy, but have been
adding popup sites to the Security, Restricted sites frequently.
