Thank you, Eddie -- I thought that the "DVDRW" designation, in Dell language, meant that it includes CD reading and writing but had to check it out with the experts.

Re your comments about refurbished computers, I am thinking that maybe people are turning in their WinXP computers and going with Windows 7. I appreciate your thoughts on that.

In the past, I bought two refurbished computers from Dell -- one a Desktop with Windows 2000 Pro and one laptop. Both were excellent and afforded no problems. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
