Hi Jan1,

Alureon is a very nasty root kit virus that is set to get passwords at secure sites like banking....so don't use the PC for those functions or there you could have more problems than just a sick PC.  This is usually picked up as a silent download on Facebook.

The site below is to download TDSSKiller which will get rid of this for you.  Be sure to follow the instructions carefully.  Good Luck.
