Here are some brief explanations of some of the questions you may have about the rules & etiquette for Mr. Ed's Computer Help Forum along with some common questions that have been routinely asked and answered.

How do I have an Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7) window open in the maximized position every time?

Launch IE7 from the IE7 Quick Launch Toolbar icon.
If you do not have an IE7 Shortcut showing in your Quick Launch Toolbar,
1. Go to your [C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer] folder.
2. Locate iexplore.exe
3. Right click on it and select [Sent To > Desktop (create shortcut)].
4. Launch IE7 from the new IE7 Desktop Shortcut icon.
5. Follow the remaining steps.
Make sure it's *NOT* maximized.
If it is maximized, click the center tab in the 3 upper right tabs to restore it down.
Drag the edges to where you want them.
Close IE7.

From now on URL shortcuts will open IE7 at that size.

Note: The new Desktop IE7 Shortcut can now be deleted if you do not want to keep it, it is no longer needed.
